Certified Trainer & Behavior Consultant

Educated, Credentialed & Insured

Hi! I’m glad you’re here. Working through a positive reinforcement behavior modification plan helped my dog to overcome his reactivity and fears. Our training together also strengthened the bond between us in a way I never imagined possible. I help others to achieve the same results with their dogs.

I attended The Academy for Dog Trainers, a rigorous and professional two-year training program run by world-renowned Jean Donaldson. I graduated from the program with Honors and now hold a Certificate in Training and Counseling (CTC). In 2021 I also became a certified Service Dog Coach (SDC). I am a Fear-Free Certified Professional, a member of the Pet Professional Guild, Certified in Cat and Dog First Aid, and hold a certificate in Pet Bereavement Support.

Tiffany is also a graduate student of Virginia Tech's Applied Animal Behavior and Welfare program. She is working towards becoming an Associate Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist.

Our Philosophy

At Compassionate Connection Dog Training we advocate for the welfare of dogs and their humans with a mission of nurturing the human-animal bond through force-free, science-based learning. We vow to never employ training techniques that cause harm; physical or emotional.

We remain committed to you and your dog’s training goals and will never blame, shame, or punish you or your best friend with harsh or coercive methods. We find the greatest success when treating others with compassion and kindness while providing clear guidance grounded in the science of learning.
